makes me {merry}

This week flew by, and thank goodness for it! I'm in desperate need of a weekend with no plans. I'm so looking forward to getting some things done around the apartment and getting a few projects done for myself as well. My sewing projects list has grown immensely over the last couple of weeks. Despite being a busy, hectic week {seriously, I know y'all are probably sick of hearing this!} there were a few things that really made me smile this week...

the return of the Starbuck's Christmas cup
{note - mine had a fox on it, but I like this one better}

some quality baby time on Halloween
{thanks Christina - I needed that!}

discovering a fun new track to run on
{and it happens to be in an amazing city park}

updating my closet for winter
{packing away the tanks and hanging up the sweaters}

What kept you merry this week? I'm not going to lie, I will probably start using the word merry far more often now that corporate America has started celebrating the Christmas season. I say, bring it on! {I may or may not be listening to Christmas music at this very moment.} I wish you all a wonderful weekend! Any fun plans?

  1. This is my first visit to your blog, and it is lovely and full of merry :)
    This week has been mostly long and frustrating but the things that made me merry are:
    -knitting a first scarf and seeing progress slowly being made
    -learning how to photograph glass(notoriously tricky)
    -finding a set of Christmas scented body washes that make showers o so nice!
    Realizing that this is a great idea for a blog post on my blog! Hope you don't mind :)
    and i'm off to wander your blogworld a little more.
    cheers!
