Hello dears! How was the weekend? Sorry I'm a bit late asking that, but it has been a busy trip so far! We arrived in Charleston on Friday afternoon and had a wonderful time playing with our niece and nephew and visiting with my brother, sister-in-law and parents. Saturday we attended a beyond beautiful wedding (I'll show you tomorrow!) and then about four hours after leaving the reception, we headed to Raleigh for a baptism of a sweet baby girl. Sunday night we had a little party with J's friends from high school (thank you Melissa!). It was a great time and I had so much fun getting to know his old friends. We played Apples to Apples (best party game ever) while the boys drank beers and the girls sipped on sangria. So, I wanted to share with you this sangria recipe that I found so tasty!
White Pear Sangria
2 bottles Sauvignon Blanc
(Melissa used Beringer White Conin and it was delish!)
1 container White Cranberry Juice
3 juicy pears cut up
1 container blueberries
A dash of sprite (whatever fits!)
My favorite part of sangria is eating the fruit at the bottom of the pitcher... the blueberries in this case were extra tart! So delicious! This sangria was definitely a perfect summer drink. Enjoy!
(Thank you to Melissa & Glamour Magazine for the great recipe!)
This post made me SO happy! Glad you liked the Sangria and the party! Enjoy the rest of your vacation!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a drinker, but that does look refreshing!
ReplyDeleteMelissa B - You can make sangria with just the juice, some fruit and sprite (or ginger ale!). It's still delicious!!!
ReplyDeletewhite sangria is my absolute favorite summer drink - so refreshing* and i love pears - such a good idea to combine the two. thanks for the recipe! xx
