Blog it out...

Sometimes I get in these super bummy moods that just wont go away. Note: these moods usually don't start up until after I'm settled in my gray dreary cubby at work.

First, I tried some music today. I have a great pandora station that plays all of my favorites. Failure. Today, it played none of my faves. Second, I tried a piece of yummy strawberry gum. Failure. Then I tried some lemon green tea. Failure. My nalgene is nasty. Then I tried some pretzels. Failure... you see, nothing was working!

First minor success? Eating lunch outside in the bright sunshine. It's amazing what a few minutes of vitamin D will do for you! So to top it off, and to finish my lunch break, I'm attempting to blog about some lovely things to make me cheery.

This beautiful vintage setup from decor8.

This post on Norway's national day found here at Fryd+Design gets me all excited about my Norwegian heritage. I get so wrapped up in being Irish, I forget about it sometimes!

Gerber daisies always brighten the day.

I would love to have a workspace that looked a little more like this... who would have thought to make a closet a desk area? Amazing. See how they did it here at Alkemie.

I think that's enough to hold me over until I get home. Only 3 more hours until bad mood is certainly gone!

  2. That little closet office is beautiful, I wish I had a spare closet to do that with! Sorry you are feeling down at work today, I hate the days when nothing works to feel better except going home, hopefully it will go by quickly!
